Nobody believed me when I said a snake had jumped into the Mokoro Nancy & I were riding in. This little (18" or about 1/2 meter) snake came quickly in my direction and then hid under my seat. We poled over to a shallow spot and Nancy & I transferred to another boat while the seats were removed and the snake found. Stanley said it was a Green Tree Snake and that it was harmless. Even so, nobody touched the snake with their hands. It was removed from the boat using one of the poles to gently lift it out.
